this is amazing
Toni Tones: Why thanks alot SB
She's certainly got presence, Toni!
Toni Tones: thanks Tom smile I think so 2
Don't like this image,

Negative space does not work here, looks like her legs been chopped off,and retouching has been very badly done (it been overdone).

Retouch and crop this again. Remember less is more, you don't ALWAYS have to retouch an image to death before it is a good image.
Toni Tones: hmmm....uv given me food for thought Subs...I agree with u abit, cropping could probably have been better, i toyed with cropping so many ways be4 i picked this one....now looking at it, I'm thinking i should have cropped up dead space on right and stopped at end of bridge... at bridge...
but I like the editing, simple b and w conversion and play with curve tool....the contrast here works 4 me ...diff strokes 4 diff folks i guess smile
Thanks 4 the criticism Subs...always welcome wink

It's fun to see someone I recognize, Toni. smile I don't have the expertise to criticise this like the others have but it works for me just the way it is. I'm glad you can stick to your own guns. When did we decide we had to follow the rules of everyone else???
Toni Tones: here! here! Ginnie..I definitely concur smile...and thanks for stopping by, its always a pleasure 2 have u smile

I must say I love the DoF and the colortones!

I totally agree with Ginnie..we should go with what we love and think is beautiful..
Photo's are pieces of art...very subjective...beauty in th eye of the beholder smile

but other than that..it is always nice to receive constructive criticism smile
Toni Tones: and you're so right Nadiuska... I totally agree with you....I'm glad you like the image smile and pls do stop by again.

Wasn't too sure about this image at first, but I have to say the more I see it, the more I appreciate it.

It's an arresting image that gives the viewer food for thought.

Great job of keeping us on ur toes Tones ;-)
Toni Tones: Thanks Abisola smile
I think she has something Toni.
Toni Tones: think so 2 Chad...
What a complete difference to the previous shot but this works really well both as a B&W image and the composition.
Toni Tones: Thanks Brian
I disagree completely with Suby and Sinem and don't thing starting off a review with "I don't like this image" qualifies as constructive criticism.

The remainder of the comments are opinion, and while it is healthy to give it (viva constructive criticism!), it doesn't need to be in such scolding language.

My personal opinion is that I really like the shot, particularly her pose, and the treatment works for me.

Shutterchance, for me at least, is a place to put up some of our "risky" images along with more standard work. Sometimes the risky ones are the best and for I think this risky one works well. Great work.
Toni Tones: Thanks alot Edward...... smile

My ten pence piece smile
I actually like the composition of this shot. The pose, the offset position of your model AND the dead space gives this image character in my humble opinion. You are a fine photographer.
Besides we all have different shooting,pp styles and its always going to generate mixed opinions.
S&S should take a very cold shower. I feel scolded reading their comment lol :p
